Travel Diary: North Cascades
Flew into Seattle and drove four hours east until the mountains on the horizon towered over us.
Winthrop, a nothing-town settled at the foot of the Cascades, was home base for the next few days.
Maple Pass trailhead in North Cascades National Park. A little more than the “cute nature walk” I sold Jules on.
Unintentionally summited the mountain.
Triumphant wine and cheese back in town.
